SENSITIVITY SCREENING is NOT diagnostic but can find indicators of causes.

A sensitivity screening may be appropriate for people who have a history of allergies or suspicion that they may have allergies, or also for somebody that experiences frequent colds, flu or other illnesses.  This is an indication that the immune system could be weakened, which may be due in part to food or environmental sensitivities.

Allergy Testing:

• “scratch” or skin test

• IgE response

• Pollen allergies likely to show

This is NOT allergy testing because that term usually associates allergies with an IgE response which is characterized by itching, sinus congestion, & skin rashes; or anaphylaxis.

Sensitivity Screening:

• Food & Chemical sensitivities likely to show

Foods, Chemicals, animal hair, trees, weeds or heavy metals can be stressors

Most people don’t realize that certain substances may be the cause of sensitivities because of delayed reactions.

Delayed sensitivities can include:

• Joint & muscle pain

• Headaches

• Depression, behavior abnormalities

• Insomnia & many other health issues

Any organ can be affected by a sensitivity reaction.  Because of this, people may have chronic complaints that are untreatable because the sensitivity is unknown or undetectable by standard testing methods.
